Please please please help us in keeping your fingers crossed that we miss the majority of this nasty rain they are predicting!

The course is closed for today however the club house will be open later tonight to host the Tuesday Night Ladies League year end dinner.

Cold weather is sneaking up fast, now is the time to get as much golf in as possible. Stop down today and enjoy your day with friends, family and the great crew hard at work at Heron Creek!

Thanks to the nice rainfall we’ve received all day today, we are back to Walkers only, no carts this afternoon. We apologize for any inconvenience and changes of plans this caused. Keep fingers crossed for a better tomorrow!

Carts are going out today, the standing water is gone but some soft spots still remain. The crew is staking out areas to route carts around those areas. Please pay attention, use caution and your best judgement as you approach spongy spots. Thanks and have fun!

Course is drying up nicely but a few spots remain too muddy to get carts through. Walkers are welcome but you’ll notice on 3 and 7 areas near the ditch lines still are wet. It’s possible carts could go out this afternoon, but more likely it won’t be until tomorrow. Check back later for updates…

We are still cleaning up and drying up after Irene. Water is gone but the mud remains.

Irene was a miserable and hateful woman! Due to her temper tantrum the course will be closed today for clean up and drying. Stay tuned!

Congratulations Bill & Michelle for 1st place, Brad & Chris for 2nd place and Bob & Fran for 3rd place in yesterday’s first ever Couples Scramble! Thanks to everyone else for being athletic supporters and for making it a successful tournament complete with LOTS of laughs!

Heron Creek is hosting the 2011 couples scramble on Saturday at 4:00. The course and kitchen will be closing at 2:00 to prepare. Come out early and get your round or two in before 2 and ahead of the aftermath of “Irene”. See you here!
