Merry Christmas!! Scott and I wanted to share with you an update we received on our Feed the Vets fund many of you generously contributed to this year. We collected an amazing $2002 which is our highest amount yet. This goes to show the generosity of our Creeker family especially during one of the most challenging years ever.
As many of you know the money raised by the Creekers go to individual people, not a group or charity.
This year we helped 3 individuals who needed a little boost to get them back on their feet.
One gentleman we paid a months car payment and a little extra to get his son some Xmas gifts.
One gentleman we were able to pay a months rent.
One gentleman we helped pay both rent and car payment.
Thank you to Billy Yount who works with Sitrins Military Rehab to identify the best way we can help vets in need each year. He meets with them one on one and experiences first hand the look on their faces. This year standing out to be a little more emotional than most.
We wanted to make sure everyone knows your generous donations are helping many many people each year because... well....this is just how the Creekers roll!!
Have a safe and Merry Christmas. ... See MoreSee Less

Good morning! For our members there is a frost delay this morning until 9:00. Scott and Ricky will be working on the greens today so if you choose to play please play around the crew (do not wait for them) so they can get this all done before the weather turns.
Also to our members - check out a new FB group called Heron Creek Garage Sales. My hope is to make this a safe and convenient way for our members to buy and sell items you no longer need. Join me and check it out.

Frost delay this morning until 9:00.
Once the frost lifts the course will be open to MEMBERS ONLY, clubhouse remains closed. We have 2 carts left for use, first come first serve. All other members are welcome to walk.
Unfortunately, Over the past couple days I’ve witnessed people (non members) walking around in noticeable disgust that the inside is closed with no one around and we have no carts (despite all the signage posted explaining this). Scott saw non members taking carts (despite signs indicating carts are for members only) and piling in more people in a cart then should have. Please remember we are shut down for the season. All this extra is Scott and I making an effort to give back for the support we received this year. We have already begun the winterizing phase so yes the inside is closed, we don’t have employees, the tee markers are put away and the carts are gone for the season. I’m concerned that our reputation we have worked so hard on for 11 seasons could be busted during these unprecedented few days with the perception that we have abandoned or neglected the business. Our reputation at this point in the season and member satisfaction is more important to us then making a few bucks. Work never stops at the creek, inside or out.
These are the reasons we are choosing to make today and next couple days open for MEMBERS only. Thank you for your continued support. ... See MoreSee Less
Talk about amazing weather for November! The course is open for walkers and we have 2 carts available for members wishing to take a cart on a first come first serve basis. The clubhouse remains closed but for non members choosing to walk there will be a box outside for donations. Half of the donations received will go towards our “Feed the Vets” fund. Scott asked that I remind everyone that even though we are in the end of the season it is just as important to fix ball marks & replace divots. The stakes around the approaches etc have been pulled but all rules still apply for where not to drive a cart. Thanks in advance. Enjoy the beautiful weather and amazing course conditions. (Thanks Jeff for the cool pic) ... See MoreSee Less
As we close out the season Scott and I reflect on a fantastic year despite the pandemic challenges. Somehow we made it work and still had fun. We have all of you to thank for that, many great new members and returning members to make up the Creeker family. The course was probably in the best condition yet, can’t wait to see what Scott will have in store for next year!
One thing I am very excited to share is that our 15 year old carts will be leaving us this week and will be replaced next year with these brand new fancy rides. We are always working hard to raise the bar at The Creek! ... See MoreSee Less
This is it....last day for clubhouse celebrations in 2020. Boy, when the Creekers are needed to come together we do it 1000%. The Creek is almost drained but still plenty left for today’s goal. It’s been hysterical watching everyone plan for that last beer and the amazing and clever speeches given as we lay that last can to rest for the season. Guaranteed fun day Sunday at the Creek!
Golfers continue to be welcome for the next couple weeks if weather allows. Honor box will be outside for payment. Continue to stay tuned to my posts for updates. ... See MoreSee Less
Excellent day yesterday! Open play today and we continue to work down on our beer and food supplies so stop over today and tomorrow to help Drain the Creek!
It’s going to be a long winter especially with the pandemic so why not take up reading? Have some books you want to get rid of? Let’s do a book exchange! Bring your books down and trade them out for something different. I have one request, if you bring books down, take home with you what didn’t get traded so we don’t end up with a library at the Creek. 🙂 ... See MoreSee Less
Who would have imagined mid to high 70s at the end of October? It’s a perfect day to get a round or two or more at The Creek! Where did October go? This will be the last weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for the clubhouse to be open so plan to spend it with us and Drain the Creek! ... See MoreSee Less
It’s hard to believe but we are nearing the end of the season. Weather forecast makes it look like Sunday is the last day to “Drain the Creek” so I’m expecting 100% effort from my fellow Creekers!
Great golfing weather today and tomorrow. See you at The Creek! ... See MoreSee Less
Open today. Scott is cautiously letting carts out after the rain we received the past 2 days. Please follow all signs and stay on cart paths as much as possible.
Stop in for lunch and/or dinner. We need your help to “drain the Creek” for the season end. Food and drink selections are limited but Pat is a creative cook and if we are out of your favorite drink now is the time to try something new! ... See MoreSee Less
