Welcome to Heron Creek Golf Club

Nestled in the heart of Mohawk Valley, just outside the historic village of Clinton, is Heron Creek Golf Club. Carefully maintained by owners Scott and Carrie Cook, Heron Creek is a public 9 hole golf course. It provides the amenities of a professional course in a casual, friendly setting that the entire family will enjoy.

In addition to the course, Heron Creek also features a clubhouse, which offers a great selection of daily specials, appetizers, and ice cold beverages. The clubhouse is a great place to grab a bite to eat before heading out to the course, or a place to enjoy a drink and conversation after a round of golf.

Looking for just the right place to hold your next private or corporate event? Heron Creek is an ideal choice. We offer a full catering menu and would love to help you plan for that special day. The menu includes everything from delicious sandwich platters, freshly grilled items, to satisfying pasta dishes. And, if you don’t see what you want, we’re happy to work with you to create just the perfect menu.

Gloomy start to the day but we know many of you have cabin fever.
The clubhouse will remain closed but we are opening the golf course at noon to members only to walk.
Taking CDC recommendations very seriously we are implementing these guidelines:

Stay at least 6 feet away from others (for some of you this is a good excuse)
Don't shake hands, chest bumps, or man hugs before or after your game
Leave the pole in the hole
Scott turned the cup over to keep your balls from settling to the bottom
Removed the ball washers, water coolers, and the one rake from course
Removed divot boxes from tees so Scott said due to regulations divots are forbidden lol
Do not share clubs or any other equipment (keep your balls to yourself)
Keep a good distance between you and the group ahead of you.
Very limited supply of pull carts available for free rental, Lysol wipes will be left so you can clean before each use.

Since the clubhouse is closed we are relaying on the honor system for members to play. If you haven’t yet paid this season’s membership, and wish to become a member, you can pay online through our website or pm me to work out a payment plan.

You can count on us to continue monitoring the weather, cdc guidelines, keeping you informed on play updates and restrictions while giving you a good laugh at the same time during these trying times.

Break out those clubs and get your swing on at The Creek!

Testimonials

Great course always with improvements each and every year. The owners and regulars are wonderful people as well. I went there 3 years ago looking to join a league after I moved to the area, not knowing anyone. I was welcomed by everyone there and come back every year. The bar and kitchen are excellent as well. I haven't had food that wasn't good there and prices are very reasonable!
